Additional NHibernate links

The classic articles about NHibernate, at least for me, are the Server Side .Net ones, here and here, by Justin Gehtland.

There are two example applications for NHibernate: This one by Scott Bellware and this by Paul Wilson. While Cuyahoga is using NHibernate (and my site run on Cuyahoga), I wouldn’t recommend it to a beginner, it is definitely a very advance application.

Benjamin has a lot to say about NHibernate. And Nikola has a very nice introductory post on it here.

Very cool NHibernate practice series

NHibernate is cool, but it is so hard for many people to find out some useful enough real practical tutorials or guides.

Ben Scheirman had a very cool article series about NHibernate together with Domain-Driven Design (DDD). From this series you can get a practical architecture process experience and finally get a complete NHibernate based DDD development experience. Following are the links:

  1. A Journey with NHibernate – Part 1
  2. A Journey With NHibernate – Part 2
  3. A Journey With NHibernate (and DDD) – Part 3

Principles of simplicity

As an experienced developer, I always try to persuade some people to make things as simple as possible. It’s an ultimate state that you can always solve problem with a simple solution. Anyway, many times, I’m just a speaker. 🙂

Today I read a great article talking about Principles of Simplicity. You can read it here.

I’m back to blog world

It has been a long time, almost one year, since jackma.net (my weblog site) crashed.

Now, jackma.net is still not alive…

I decided to turn to this msn space to go on my blog life. Anyway, writing something is always good for one to consolidate the thoughts, to remember something not so important but not bad to remember.

I will carry on my style, most of the blogs here will focus on technology with some of them will talk about the non-tech stuff like song I love, photos I take, traveling and so on.
